NT Images

This is a collection of the images taken for places-of-worship (churches, temples, mosques, synagogues and so forth) in the in the Northwest Territories (NT). At this time just those known about in one region are available here.

The thumbnails are sorted by COMMUNITY NAME. Click on a thumbnail to view the image for that place of worship. To return to the gallery of thumbnails “X” OUT  by clicking on the X at the TOP RIGHT. For more guidance and how to use the menu selection options, see the next paragraph “Navigating the selection menu”.

Note: images are watermarked and the ones shown do not have the density for a full size print, but if you are interested you can  CONTACT US to order a clean higher density image.

There are two ways to narrow down your search. You can enter a String you wish to Search on if you wish to narrow down the gallery results. This could be for example, the name of a community or saint.

Alternatively, or in conjunction with the search string, you can click on the tags to provide more selection criteria. There are three groups of tags: regional division; selection of particular faiths/denominations; and selection of particular statuses. A tag value is shown on the selection menu when there is at least one instance in the entire website, but may not be applicable for the province you have chosen.  

Click on the tag to select it, and again to deselect it. The leftmost tag will clear any selection on that group of tags. Thumbnails will be presented below according to the chosen Tags and any String that you entered.
